Scope, Mission, and Publishing Model
CJMLIT advances interdisciplinary research at the intersection of machine learning, artificial intelligence, intelligent transportation systems, connected mobility, digital twins, transportation cybersecurity, road safety, smart infrastructure, transportation networks, and transportation data science.
The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, data papers, methodological studies, and reproducibility studies. It promotes collaboration among researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to support the development of sustainable, resilient, safe, and intelligent transportation systems.
Research manuscripts undergo a double-anonymous peer-review process and are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. Additional review rounds may be conducted when major revisions are required or reviewer recommendations diverge. The final editorial decision is made by the assigned editor under the oversight of the Editor-in-Chief.
Open Access and Copyright
CJMLIT provides immediate open access to its published content. Articles are freely available online to support the global dissemination and reuse of scientific knowledge.
Authors retain copyright of their work. Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated.
Article Processing Charges
CJMLIT does not charge submission fees, editorial processing fees, page charges, or publication fees. Article processing charges are fully waived until January 31, 2027.
Digital Object Identifiers and Metadata
Articles published by CJMLIT will be assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through Crossref. The Crossref DOI prefix registered to CuspideScience is 10.65269.
Archiving, Preservation, and Discovery
CJMLIT is committed to the long-term accessibility and integrity of its scholarly content. Published articles will be hosted on the journal's Open Journal Systems platform and receive persistent identifiers through Crossref.
Subject to eligibility and technical requirements, the journal plans to participate in recognized preservation and archival services, including the PKP Preservation Network, and to comply with applicable digital legal deposit requirements of Library and Archives Canada.
Following publication of its first complete issue and assignment of an online ISSN, CJMLIT will pursue appropriate scholarly discovery and indexing opportunities, including Google Scholar, ROAD, and other relevant academic databases and catalogues.
