Peer Review Certificate Verification

CuspideScience recognizes the essential contribution of peer reviewers to the quality, integrity, and development of scholarly publishing. Reviewers who successfully complete an eligible peer-review assignment for a CuspideScience journal may receive an official peer-review certificate.

Each certificate issued by CuspideScience contains a unique certificate identifier and an individual verification URL. These elements allow the certificate holder, academic institutions, employers, and other authorized parties to confirm the authenticity and current status of the certificate.

How to Verify a Certificate

1. Locate the certificate identifier printed on the certificate. It normally follows a format such as CS-REV-2026-F2A3D122.
2. Open the official CuspideScience certificate verification service using the button below.
3. Enter the complete certificate identifier exactly as it appears on the certificate.
4. Select Verify to display the certificate record and its current status.

Information Displayed During Verification

When a valid certificate is found, the verification record may display:

• the unique certificate identifier;
• the name of the reviewer;
• the name of the journal;
• the manuscript title, where disclosure is appropriate;
• the date on which the review was completed;
• the certificate issue date; and
• the current certificate status.

Certificate Status

A certificate may display one of the following statuses:

Valid: The certificate was officially issued by CuspideScience and remains active in the certificate registry.

Revoked: The certificate was previously issued but is no longer considered valid. Where appropriate, the verification record may include general information regarding the revocation.

Certificate not found: The identifier entered does not correspond to a certificate currently recorded in the official CuspideScience certificate registry. Users should verify that the identifier was entered correctly.

Confidentiality of Peer Review

Certificate verification confirms only that a qualifying peer-review activity was completed and that the corresponding certificate was issued by CuspideScience. It does not disclose the content of the review report, the reviewer's recommendation, confidential comments to the editor, editorial decisions, or any other confidential information associated with the manuscript.

Authenticity and Misuse

A certificate should be considered authentic only when its identifier can be successfully verified through the official CuspideScience verification service. Alteration, unauthorized reproduction, falsification, or misleading use of a CuspideScience certificate is prohibited.

CuspideScience reserves the right to revoke a certificate when it was issued in error, obtained through misrepresentation, altered, fraudulently used, or otherwise found to be inconsistent with the publisher's policies.
