Call for Papers-SI on AEEF 2026
Special Issue on Artificial Intelligence for Engineering Education, Smart Infrastructures and Intelligent Systems
Aims and Scope
The African Engineering Education Forum (AEEF 2026) will be held in Douala, Cameroon, at the Faculty of Science, University of Douala (https://aeef2026.com/), from June 8 to 11, 2026. Under the theme Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Engineering Education: Innovation and Solutions for Resource-Constrained Environments, the forum brings together educators, researchers, policymakers, professionals, and industry leaders to discuss the future of engineering education in Africa and beyond.
This Special Issue is proposed in the Canadian Journal of Machine Learning & Intelligent Transportation (CJMLIT), an open-access journal dedicated to rigorously peer-reviewed research on machine learning applications in transportation and network systems. The Special Issue aims to connect the educational priorities of AEEF 2026 with CJMLIT’s broader scope in intelligent infrastructures, data-driven systems, mobility, and networked technologies.
The issue seeks to attract high-quality submissions from researchers and practitioners working on AI-enabled engineering education, intelligent infrastructures, smart mobility, connected systems, and practical solutions for resource-constrained environments. By combining the forum’s emphasis on AI integration, capacity building, international collaboration, and sustainable engineering education with CJMLIT’s focus on machine learning and intelligent systems, AEEF 2026 offers a strong platform for original and impactful contributions.
